We're Seb and Michelle — the husband-and-wife team behind Gomin Reviews. We live on the Caribbean island of St. Martin with our daughter Mya and our French bulldog Walter (who, for the record, is allergic to chicken and reminds us about it daily).
Gomin Reviews is where we publish hands-on reviews of the products we actually buy, test, and use in real life. No "best of" lists assembled by someone who never opened the box. If a product is on this site, one of us has had it in our home.
How we got here
Seb is originally from Canada — half Argentine, half French — and has called St. Martin home for over 15 years. Michelle grew up here. Between the two of us we've been creating content online for roughly a decade, and for the last four years we've been working full-time as Amazon Influencers under our Gominplanet brand.

We've held Top Platinum Influencer status on Amazon since 2022, and our conversion rate consistently lands in the top 1% of creators on the platform. That doesn't happen by hyping up junk. It happens because people who follow our recommendations actually like what they buy — and they come back.
We're picky. Living on a small island means returns are a nightmare, shipping is slow, and the climate is brutal on cheap products. So we test things the way our readers would: in real conditions, over real time, with real expectations. If something fails, breaks, disappoints, or just isn't worth the price, we say so.

In-depth product reviews, side-by-side comparisons, buying guides, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look at the gear and tools we use to run our creator business and our home (including our DIY solar setup, which is its own rabbit hole).
