COOFANDY Textured Knit Sweater Review
The COOFANDY textured knit sweater has ridged elastic detailing running through the whole design, fits true in a medium, and layers over a polo.
The COOFANDY textured knit sweater is worth buying if you want a form-fitted layer that still reads put-together over a polo. The ridged elastic detail runs through the whole design, and the medium sits right on a medium frame without squeezing. Skip it if you want something long or loose.

Quick Verdict
Those ridges on the wrist follow through the whole design, and I’ve never seen that on a sweater before. I wear a medium and this one sits kind of perfectly on a medium frame. Comfortable, form fitted, and made for sweater weather.
Buy if you:
- wear a medium and want a form-fitted cut
- layer a polo underneath in cooler weather
- want texture instead of a plain flat knit
- need one piece for office and weekends
Skip if you:
- like your sweaters long, this one isn’t going to be too long on you
- want a loose, oversized drape
- dislike elastic at the hem, even the non-squeezing kind

Textured Knit Details: COOFANDY Sweater Ridge Design

COOFANDY sent me this sweater and the first thing I noticed was the cuff. Those cuff ridges, the kind you’d normally only see at the wrist band, repeat across the entire body of the sweater, so the texture isn’t a trim detail, it’s the whole design. I’ve tested a lot of budget knits and none of them have done that. The COOFANDY textured knit sweater lives or dies by that pattern, and it works.
The Medium Sits Perfectly On a Medium Frame
The medium sits short, it hits right at the waistband, not the hip, and the elastic hem cinches just enough to keep the silhouette clean without digging in. That’s the tradeoff in one sentence: you get a sharp, tucked-in look whether you tuck or not, but if you want a relaxed, drop-hem drape, this cut will frustrate you. Size up if you’re on the fence.
Who Should Wear This One
Guys who layer. I’m wearing it with a polo underneath and it works, which is why I’d call this a sweater-weather piece rather than a deep-winter one. The polo-underneath combination is the sweet spot: the collar peeks out, the sweater doesn’t bulk up around the shoulders, and the short hem means nothing bunches at the waist. If you want oversized or extra length, look elsewhere. Everyone else, grab the COOFANDY textured knit sweater here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you wear it straight out of the box or does it need steaming?
Mine looked ready to wear. The textured knit hides fold creases well, so any shipping wrinkles aren’t obvious once it’s on.
Does it work for a business casual office?
Yes, especially over a collared shirt. The texture is what keeps it from reading as a plain casual pullover.
Should I size up if I’m between sizes?
Size up if you want breathing room. The medium runs form fitted and shorter, so anyone wanting a relaxed look should go one up.
