This heated shower mirror is worth buying if you shave in a steamy shower and you’re done with anti-fog spray and suction cups that slide off the tile. It charges over USB-C, preheats in 45 to 90 seconds, and holds any angle on its ball joint. Skip it if you refuse to use adhesive on your walls.

Quick Verdict

One button, a little blue light, and 45 to 90 seconds later the fog is gone. No spray, no wiping, and the ball joint holds whatever angle I put it at instead of drifting down the tile. If you shower in full steam like I do, this solves the problem properly.

Buy if you:

  • Shower in full steam and shave in there
  • Don’t want to drill holes into your shower tiles
  • Are tired of suction cups letting go mid-shave
  • Want your razor and shaving cream stored in the shower

Why Your Heated Shower Mirror Fogs During Shaving

Have you ever tried to shave in the shower using a mirror? It works until it doesn’t, because about forty seconds in the whole thing greys over and you’re wiping with the back of your hand. That’s the entire reason I wanted to try this heated shower mirror.

You charge it over USB-C. Then you’re literally one button away. Press it, the little blue light comes on, and the glass starts warming. Within a minute or two the fog is gone and it stays gone while you shave.

I shower in full steam. It’s so good for the skin, but it’s terrible on mirrors. This one won’t fog up, and that’s really the whole pitch.

No, It’s Not a Heater, It’s a Hairdryer’s Worth of Warmth

The mirror doesn’t get hot in any meaningful way, touch the surface and you feel mild warmth, not heat. What it’s actually doing is the same thing a hairdryer does when you wave it across a fogged bathroom mirror: raising the glass temperature just enough that condensation can’t form. The difference is it does that automatically, continuously, the whole time you’re shaving.

You feel the heat a little when you touch the surface. Just a little. It’s enough for the fog to disappear completely and not come back, and that’s the point. There’s a temperature cutoff built in that kills power above 149°F and brings it back below 122°F, so it isn’t trying to be a hot plate on your wall.

The other assumption worth killing: this isn’t a coated anti-fog mirror. Coatings wear out and need spray every few weeks. Heat doesn’t wear out.

The Ball Joint Is the Part That Sold Me

The mirror doesn’t drift. That’s the single biggest difference between this and every suction-cup mirror I’ve dealt with.

The bracket has a ball sitting on it and you press the mirror onto it with a bit of force until it seats. Once that’s in, you can tell that it’s moving, yes, you can tilt it up, down, or spin it a full 360 if you want. But whatever position you leave it in, it doesn’t wobble and it doesn’t want to creep out of that position. For someone who’s 6 feet tall sharing a shower with someone who isn’t, being able to swing the angle in one second and have it stay there matters more than any spec on the box.

Two mounting options come in the box. There’s hardware with two screw holes if you want the structure drilled into the wall permanently. I didn’t want to drill into my tiles, so I used the sticky silicone pad instead. I’ve used this style of pad on other devices and it works incredibly, and it stays put for a really long time. Both sides are sticky, one side onto the mount, one onto the tile.

friction point: once that pad is down, it’s down. You get one good shot at picking the height and position, so measure where your eyeline actually lands before you commit. Press it on at chest height because it looked right and you’ll be ducking for the rest of the year.

Charging It Without Taking the Whole Thing Apart

You don’t dismantle anything to charge it. The mirror slides down into notches on the wall mount, so when the battery’s low you just slip it out, carry it to a charger, flip the port cover up, and plug it in.

They give you a USB-A to USB-C cable in the box. No plug brick, so you’re using one you already own. When you’re done charging, make sure you actually cover the port back up before it goes anywhere near water. That’s the one step people will skip, and it’s the one that matters on an IPX4-rated device.

With a 5000mAh battery and a 15-minute auto-off, charging isn’t a weekly chore. The listing says 3 to 4 weeks per charge. Maintenance beyond that is basically nothing: wipe the glass, keep the port sealed, done. No cartridges, no spray bottles, no consumables.

That Clip-On Piece Is a Razor Holder

There’s a separate contraption in the box that confused me for about ten seconds. It clicks straight into the mount. You hear the click, and once it’s clicked in, it becomes a holder for your razors, your creams, whatever you use.

I keep an old-school manual shaving cream in mine. It turns a mirror into a small shaving station instead of one more thing balanced on the soap ledge.

Would I Keep It on the Wall? Yes.

Every other shower mirror I’ve tried failed at one of two things: the glass fogged back up within a minute, or the mount gave up mid-shave. This one doesn’t do either. Heat keeps the glass clear without reapplication, and the ball joint on an adhesive pad holds where a suction cup would have already slid off the tile.

It’s not instant, and that’s the only thing to be realistic about. You press the button, wait 45 to 90 seconds while the glass preheats, and then shave. If you’re the type who runs into the shower and starts shaving at second five, that pause will annoy you. I just press it when I step in and it’s clear by the time I’m ready.

The 8.3″ round face is wide enough to see your whole jawline in one shot, which matters more than it sounds when you’re shaving around your neck at a weird angle. And if you need to tilt it two inches lower for a closer look, the ball joint gets you there in one move and stays.

Pros

  • One button clears the fog with heat, no spray and no wiping
  • Ball joint holds any angle, full 360°, with no wobble or drift
  • Two mounting options: drill hardware or a strong silicone adhesive pad
  • Mirror slips out of the mount for charging without disassembly
  • Clip-in holder for razors and shaving cream comes in the box

Cons

  • You wait 45 to 90 seconds for preheat before the glass clears
  • The adhesive pad is a one-shot placement decision on your tile
  • Cable included, but no wall charger
  • You have to remember to re-cover the charging port before it gets wet

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the adhesive pad stick to textured or stone tile?

It needs a smooth, flat, non-porous surface to grip properly. Standard glazed ceramic tile, glass, or an acrylic shower panel is ideal. On rough stone or heavy textured tile, use the included screw hardware instead, because the pad can’t make full contact.

Is there an app or subscription?

No. It’s one physical button, no app, no account, no pairing, no subscription. Press, the blue light comes on, and it heats. Nothing to update and nothing to log into.

Can I leave it mounted in the shower all the time?

Yes, that’s the intended use, and it’s rated IPX4 for splashing water. The thing to watch is the charging port cover. Make sure it’s closed every time after charging, since IPX4 covers splashes and steam, not a direct jet or submersion.

How do I know when the battery is low?

A red indicator light flashes when the battery runs low. It also shuts itself off after 15 minutes of no operation, so forgetting to switch it off after a shave doesn’t drain the 5000mAh pack.

If you shave in a steamy shower, this solves the two problems at once: heat clears fog without reapplication, and the ball joint holds angle better than any suction cup.
